Translation, Proofreading, and Editing
So, you’re just wrapping up production on your latest project, everything looks great, and now, you just have to deal with its localization. Trust me, this is not the time cheap out. Think about it: would you rather test your luck with Google Translate or an underpaid freelancer, or let a professional take care of all your work?
A translation is basically the gateway to any product’s profitability in that country/language, and even though a translator can hardly improve on a document’s quality (ongoing debate on this issue), a bad translator can certainly harm it.
Having worked in the translation field for over 10 years now, I have come across a plethora of different documents and texts. From software and script localization, to SEO websites and marketing material, all the way to proofreading and editing academic papers.
Unlike other translators out there, I won’t boast a long list of language pairs I work with. However, I am highly specialized in translating English to Italian, and vice versa. Also, as I am completely bilingual, I have several ongoing collaborations as proofreader and editor for both languages.
If you have any linguistic needs dealing with English or Italian, contact me through my Contacts page, or check out my Proz.com profile. I will be glad to reply as soon as I can to discuss your inquiry and to provide a quote based on the type of document/project, size, and deadline.
