Hip Flasks – Drink with style on the go
When it comes to drinking with style on the go, there’s nothing much more hip (hipper? There’s something for you to think about) than a hip flask (yep, hip flasks are hip, can’t hold back today).
Given this exceedingly hilarious intro to today’s topic, you probably figured that, after getting my wireless bluetooth earbuds, I decided to up my style drinking-wise, which is why a few days ago I started looking for a new hip flask. I actually already have two: a classic stainless-steel brushed flask (much like this one), and another one which is currently on the loose (look out people!) with the four card aces on it. I really didn’t want to opt for a monochrome boring one, which is why I started looking for a standard size hip flask (normally 7-8 Oz.) in a low to middle prince range. Hip flasks start at about 5$ and scale up to, well, whatever you’re willing to pay for it. Personally, I was looking for something between the 10$ and 25$ mark.
Here are the ones I found to be more interesting:
This is actually a really nice-looking flask; the cap even contains three shot glasses and it comes with a funnel to help you fill it! It’s definitely worth the $14.99.
This flask also looks really remarkable, particularly if you’re a fan of Jack Daniels. Priced at $22.99 this flask also comes with 2 shot glasses and a funnel.
With Game of Thrones being over, I was really tempted to go for this one, it looks nice and is actually quite cheap at $9.99. Unlike the others so far it doesn’t come with a funnel or shot glasses, but if you’re set on this design there are plenty other makers that sell it with all the other accessories.
And here’s the one I actually bought. I love its vibe with the stag head embossed plate and the faux leather cover (it’s actually rubber). I payed 14.54 EUR for it (unfortunately couldn’t find it on Amazon.com, but it is on Amazon.co.uk) and while it doesn’t come with any other accessory, I did like it enough to make do without them. While there are many other hip flasks out there that might be more suitable for your taste and needs, this is exactly what I was looking for.
Obviously, there are hundreds of hip flasks available on Amazon, and as I already mentioned prices range from 5$ to even a thousand bucks. If the ones listed here don’t satisfy your extremely tasteful standards, why not take a look at the others?
